Move In

  • Garbage collection is every Friday — push out the black trash cans on Thursday afternoon.
  • Recycling collection is every OTHER Friday — push out the blue cans on Thursday when neighbors do.
  • The above 2 services could be delayed to Sat due to a holiday in the week.
  • Landscaping service is on Wednesday once every 2 (or 4) weeks.
  • Exterior pest control service is on the first Thursday of every month.
  • The above 2 services date could change due to holiday and/or weather (rain, etc).
  • If electrical outlet in kitchen and/or bathroom is not working, push the “Reset” middle button in the (nearest) GFCI outlet.
  • If the above action does not work, or electricity is lost in other parts of the house, check the breaker panel and sub-panels for any tripped breaker(s). If found, first switch to the OFF position to reset it, then to the ON position.
  • If smoke alarms sound up, immediately check if there is fire anywhere in the house — the alarms are inter-connected across the entire house.
    • Call 911 if fire.
    • If no fire, open up doors and windows to let any dust or burning (from candle, etc) residue dissipate. Push the middle button of the smoke alarm to hush it.
  • If you hear constant running water in toilet tank, open up the tank lid and see if waters are really running.
  • If so, turn off the angle stop valve that’s right under the tank to stop the water leaking; and report to landlord.
